I love sports.  OK, so my roots keep me hooked on Baseball, Football, Basketball, and sometimes Hockey.  The rest of the world watches Soccer (Futbol) and Cricket.  StreamingThe.net has it all.  Hey, if you are from the great white north we’ve even got some Lacrosse for you too!

We’ll start in the good ole USA

BME Sports is a sports channel oriented to African-Americans (Black Media Entertainment

ESPN (Asian Feed) is always a good way to catch up the world of sports action.

Catch a Baseball Game from the MLB Classics Channel.  I watched last week a no-hitter by a Milwaukee Brewers pitcher in 1987.  It’s amazing how the broadcast styles have evolved over time.

Moving along to Europe

There are 7 sports channels streaming from the Netherlands, including channels that focus on handball, lacrosse, water polo, and basketball.

France hosts the venerable European equivalent of ESPN’s SportsCenter, my favorite European sports news channel Eurosports.  Italy’s Sport Italia showcases Europe’s finest football matches (Soccer).

Off the continent, the UK has Sportal, which is a wide-variety channel including motor sports, cricket, rugby, and many other interesting world sports.

Down under in Australia, they’ve got Big Pond Sports, which also resembles ESPN, with an emphasis on rugby (what did you expect?…)

Over in the Middle East, there’s a never-ending supply of live football matches on Dubai Sports Channel.
